F.A.Q. for Donations

Why do you need to raise support?

ICSV started as a missionary school and as such encourage staff members to raise support to help subsidize the stipend given to us by the school. This will help with moving costs, visas, emergency expenses, and give me the ability to eat more than just Ramen and rice. Life in Europe is on average 2-3 times more expensive than life in the USA, thus another more logistical reason for raising support. By raising support, we are also able to develop a community around us who will encourage us and pray for us. I am in need of $500 per month and I know that God will provide through you!

Why should I donate?

1) God tells us to be generous when able in order to support those who are doing His work.

2) You will be supporting God's calling on my life and the work He will be doing through me at ICSV.

3) At ICSV there are students from over 50 countries and from many different backgrounds. It is it's own mission field and there are daily opportunites to share and live out my belief in God and the gospel.

4) Your donation will be tax-deductible.

Who do I make my donation to?

All donations to me will go through Resourcing Christian Education (RCE) International.

What type of organization is this?

RCE International is a non-profit organization based out of Wheaton, Illinois. They partner with the International Christian School of Vienna to support the school as a whole and also the American and Canadian teachers who are working there.

When can I donate?

You can choose to donate monthly, quarterly, annually, or a first-time gift. For the first three options, it is possible to set up an account with RCE International and have the funds directly transferred from your bank account.

Where do I donate?

You can choose to donate by mail or online. Please be aware that if you choose to donate online, no matter if it's by bank transfer or credit card, there is a 3% transaction fee. If you choose to donate by mail, there is no transaction fee. Also, please make note that my name, Shawna Fiscus, should not appear anywhere on your check. The only reference to me should be my account number, 02830, in the memo section.

If donating by mail, please send to:

RCE International

PO Box 4528

Wheaton, IL 60189

How do I donate?

As mentioned above, there are two main ways of donating: mail or online. But within that, there are different options too.

1) Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)--This is a transfer from your bank to RCE International. There are no transaction fees, all you need is your bank account number and the bank routing number. EFT's are transferred the 10th of each month. You may indicate on the form the regularity of your donation: monthly, quarterly, or annually. If you would like to set up an EFT please print, complete, and send this form to:
RCE International

Attn: EFT Program

PO Box 4528

Wheaton IL 60189.

There are no transaction fees associated with an EFT.

2) Bank Transfer--This is available if you set up an online account. Instead of choosing "Credit Card," mark "Check" and enter your routing number and account number. You can choose if you want your donation to be monthly, quarterly, or annually along with the start and end dates. There is a 3% transaction fee if you choose to do a bank transfer.

2) Credit Card--If you set up an account online, you are able to make your donation with a credit card. RCE International accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. You can choose if you want your donation to be monthly, quarterly, or annually along with the start and end dates. There is a 3% transaction fee if you use choose to use your credit card.

3) Mail--You are always able to mail in your donation as well. Just download and mail in this form along with your check with my account number, 02830, in the memo section. Again, the check should be made out to RCE International and my name should not be present on the check.

Can I donate with cash? Or do I have to use a check?

Yes, you can donate with cash. However as per RCE International and Federal laws on tax-deductible donations, the cash donation needs to be"accompanied by a letter from the donor verifying the donation with the requested designation for the gift."
