Les Miserables

Those of you that know me, know that I love musical theater. Earlier this year, I saw there was going to be an 8-week concert run of Les Miserables and it was right over a 3-day weekend we have in September. I jumped on the opportunity to go back to London and to see Les Mis again.

I went with one of my colleagues, Katie, and we enjoyed our weekend. We were also blessed with beautiful weather the whole time we were there. Katie didn't join me for the actual show, she's not that big into musical theater, but we spent the rest of our time together. It was fun just walking around the city with her and I found it amusing to watch her geek out about Tudor history.

Les Miserables was great! If you've seen the 10th or 25th anniversary concerts, it was performed in the same style as those. The cast was amazing and it was so much fun to see live theater again! The last time I saw a musical on stage (that wasn't Oliver!) was at least 1.5 years ago. I greatly appreciated the opportunity to go and see something like this as well as enjoy the beautiful outdoors and parks in London.
